More about Gretchen Richards and Antares Partners, LLC:
Gretchen Richards grew up in DC before moving to California for high school and college. She has a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of California, Davis and moved back to the DC area after graduation. She spent her early career years working for government contractors and telecommunication companies. In the telecommunications industry, she built MCI’s network element that translated 800 numbers, support private networks and call cards. Later she managed the delivery of the enhanced network elements for the first GSM mobile network in the United States, Sprint Spectrum, launched between DC and Baltimore.
Gretchen then help grow two different small companies from under 20 people to 170 and 60 people, each over a 4 year period. At those two companies, she learned the how to overcome the challenges involved in company growth and creating corporate structures while not losing focus on delivering quality products to your customers. Gretchen now runs a management consulting company, Antares Partners LLC, which helps companies that are struggling with change and growth. Whether it is inconsistent product quality, key people dependencies, ineffective processes, or general productivity issues, Antares Partners can help get small business back on track to improved revenues and profits.
