035 – Purpose Vs. Mission – Chris Smith
The Business Side of Business podcast discusses Purpose vs. Mission with guest Chris Smith of ChangeSmith Management Consultants.
This episode spotlights not just the difference between a company’s mission and their purpose, but Chris shares why entrepreneurs and C-Level leaders must get clear on aligning the purpose within the totality of the company. Purpose is what brings the joy into your company. Purpose is the common thread that helps employees and the organizations define the “Culture” for your company. Purpose is what helps staff and owners slog through the down part of business cycles and growth. It happens. A clear purpose that is successfully communicated and demonstrated consistently throughout a company really is a key to strategic, profitable and happy business growth. Yes, I said happy. Does business really need to be glum and dehumanized for success? Chris says HECK NO! Listen in NOW to hear more from Chris and examples of where purpose alignment has set companies up for big growth.
